About Me

Tobias Lohse

I earned my bachelor in physics and philosophy at the University of Konstanz in 2012 and finished with a bachelor thesis in theoretical quantum mechanics at Northwestern University in Chicago. In my free time I love to take photos, learn more programming and design for web and print output.

At the moment I am finishing my second bachelor in philosophy and computer science in Berlin and coordinating the NGO Kijani, which I founded during my voluntary service in Kenya.

I believe that we can change the world through our combined and engaged involvement in social and political activities. I am convinced that all conflicts can be solved when we listen to each other and try to understand and respect each other: if we don't look away and we take a stand for those who are weaker than us. A faith which works for justice, peace and integrity of creation, which never stops questioning and gains its strength from the spirituality of prayer and silence, is an important part of my life.

If you want to find out more about my activities, interests and thoughts, you can follow me on twitter via @MrLoh or visit me on Facebook.
